In September, Apple introduced its latest line of smartwatches, including the first-ever Ultra ($799), Series 8 ($399), and Apple Watch SE ($249). Here are the best deals on Apple Watches right now.
Each wearable has its own benefits and drawbacks, but the high-end Ultra also means that there are now more Apple Watch models available than ever before and that there are a lot more deals to be had.
But out of all those choices, which one ought to you select? In general, you should buy the most recent watch you can afford in order to continue receiving software updates from Apple.

The most recent software update, watchOS 9, was released in September for the Apple Watch Series 4 and later models, but no one knows for sure if the Series 4 will receive the next major software update. In addition, keep in mind that, in contrast to some Apple products, the most expensive discounts typically apply to the most recent models, not the previous generation.

If you buy a watch from the most recent or most recent generation, you will get a smartwatch with a modern design, a lot of features, and a lot of sensors. Fortunately, it is harder to acquire a watch that will quickly feel out of date now that the Series 3 is officially out of service, which was long overdue.
Let's move on to the deals now.

The best deals on the Apple Watch Series 8 The latest wearable in Apple's flagship Series lineup is the Apple Watch Series 8. New temperature sensors that enable menstrual tracking, Crash Detection, and a slew of other enhancements are included, as is a brand-new chipset that, according to our colleague Victoria Song, is not any faster than the previous version. The Apple Watch Series 8 isn't all that different from its predecessor, the Series 7, despite the welcome but minor enhancements.

The base Apple Watch Series 8 has recently dropped to $329, but the 41mm model with GPS is currently only available at Best Buy and Target for around $399 (its standard retail price). Regarding the larger 45mm model, it is currently on sale at Walmart for $419, which is $60 more than the watch's most recent low and approximately $10 cheaper. Additionally, you can purchase the larger model from Best Buy and Target for approximately $429 (MSRP).

The 41mm configuration (Best Buy/Target) and the 45mm configuration (Best Buy/Target) start at $499 and $529, respectively, for models that are unlocked and equipped with LTE.

The best deals on the Apple Watch SE The Apple Watch SE was updated toward the end of 2022. It has the same chipset as the Series 8, which is great. However, compared to the Series 7 and Series 8, it has fewer sensors, no always-on display, and a design that is a little bit out of date. This may be out of the running for some due to those omissions, but it still might be what you're looking for. The best part is that the 40mm Wi-Fi / GPS model starts at $249, $30 less than the base price of the previous generation. For the 40mm size, choosing cellular increases the starting price to $299 (each configuration costs $20 more with 44mm).

The 40mm Apple Watch SE with GPS is currently available at Best Buy, Walmart, and Target for approximately $249, which is approximately $30 more than the wearable's current lowest price. Best Buy, Apple, and Target all sell the GPS-only model for $279, while Amazon, Best Buy, and Target sell the LTE-equipped model for as little as $289.99.

Walmart even has the 40mm, GPS-equipped SE for $199, saving you $80 if you're okay with getting the latest model.
