I used one app for about 30 minutes to cancel several subscriptions I no longer use. This year, I'll save about $1,235.
If you're like me, you might use multiple credit cards to sign up for a lot of subscriptions and forget to cancel them when you stop using them.

I was able to see all of my subscriptions by using the Rocket Money app. It allowed me to unsubscribe from the ones I didn't need without opening a lot of other apps or websites.
I saved $980 for the year when I canceled the meal-prep subscription service Hello Fresh. I also cancelled my $75 Instacart membership and canceled a $180 workout app subscription. You might also find and cancel streaming service subscriptions you no longer use or other recurring bills you've forgotten about with Rocket Money.

The app gives new users a free trial period of seven days, which gives them enough time to cancel their subscriptions. Otherwise, the app costs between $3 and $12 per month and is billed annually, depending on what you need. The savings and tracking tools that Rocket Money offers, among other features, may make the monthly fee worthwhile for you. I simply required it to consolidate all of my subscriptions into a single location so that I could cancel those I hadn't been using.
Creating an account and using Rocket Money are simple as long as you remember the passwords to all of your accounts. This is what to do:

Create an account with Rocket Money online. The app is also available for Android and iPhone download.
Connect your credit cards, savings accounts, and checking accounts. Two-factor authentication, in which you receive a code to enable you to connect Rocket Money to your bank or credit card account, may be required from time to time.
Once your accounts are linked, you'll be able to see your recent transactions. On the website, recurring charges are represented by a small icon that resembles an arrow that circles a circle. You will find a tab for recurring charges at the bottom of the app.

Click the subscription that you want to stop.
Tap the drop-down menu button in the website's upper right corner once you see the subscription transaction. Tap the three dots icon next to the charge in the Rockey Money app.
Choose "Cancel This for Me."

After entering your username and password, Rocket Money will be granted access to your account.
To cancel additional subscriptions, repeat that.

Although Rocket Money stated that it could not cancel one of my subscriptions, it provided me with the cancellation information I required, including the cancellation link on the website, the company's customer service phone number, and a support email address.

Pro tip: Go to annualcreditreport.com to get your free credit report, which will include all of your open accounts, if you're having trouble remembering them all. You can get a free copy of your annual credit report every year without hurting your score. You will be able to see some of the random credit accounts you may have opened but never used that you might want to link to Rocket Money by using this feature.
